The Axillium Team

I founded Axillium in 2007 to provide innovation management to support companies researching and enabling high-value manufacturing technology. Axillium has grown rapidly since as we specialise in establishing collaborative business methods within a project management framework. I provide guidance on strategy, leadership and business planning and have wide experience of technology delivery in the High Value Manufacturing, Advanced Materials and ICT fields

I joined Axillium in May 2011 as my background in information management, business analysis, project management and experience with funding bodies proved a very good fit with Axillium’s past, present and future. Axillium’s energising and exciting ability to engage with industry and public bodies on so many levels both offers and shares opportunities to make change happen. As Research Programme Manager, I am building a team of business analysts and researchers to support organisations in development projects, and helping to bring companies to a state of readiness to embrace open innovation.

I joined the Axillium team in January 2012 after 21 years in the Diplomatic Service of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.  I have served in many different countries in a variety of management/co-ordinator roles, most recently in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I oversee the day to day running of the business working closely with our Business Coordinator, Debbie Minorczyk, to support our growing team.

I joined Axillium in April 2010 to support the delivery of collaborative research programmes with partners such as Jaguar Land Rover, GKN Aerospace, BAE Systems, and SME’s as well as academia.  I work on projects involving ICT in high-value manufacturing.

I joined the Axillium team in December 2010 as Business Coordinator responsible for the day to day running of the office.  In this I also provide PA support to our Managing Director, helping to juggle his busy diary to ensure he is in the right place at the right time.

I am a business facilitator, coach and trainer, and Managing Director of Power & Grace. Working with Axillium, Power & Grace provides you, the client, with an integrated approach to making things happen in your innovation programmes, raising the probability of achieving your goals.

Axillium provides the expertise and knowledge in the sector coupled with strong programme management capability.  Power & Grace specialises in providing tools and techniques, helping organisations to integrate creativity, innovation, project management and leadership in order to deliver high performance and sustainable new ways of working. 

I began working with Axillium in November 2011, providing consultancy and analysis expertise on projects calling for experience in business architecture and design.  My 25 years' experience in the premium automotive industry, combined with expertise in the practical application of systems thinking and complex systems modelling in particular, is an excellent fit with Axillium's work managing innovation projects for the UK's high value manufacturing industries, and the unique technical and sociological challenges that those industries face.
